Today’s bulletin should be short and sweet, with some Roman overtones to seal it and deal it.
This week at STB was full of learning curves and some lucky mishaps, but as far as first weeks go, I couldn’t be more enthusiastic about the future– well, hold on, lets finish the bulletin first and then see where our future optimism lies.
Hope today is finding everyone better than those that may have found themselves on the wrong side of the bed— that they made. Which hopefully is a win for those whom trust karma to do its job.
First off, I’d like to thank Nelson Cash for making this wonderful website that unwittingly gave me the inspiration for the blogs name, slick (IMO) logo and layout. If you have any ideas that needs a little strangification please swing by and give it a whirl.
Next, the first blog post was successfully uploaded (and then repeatedly updated) and is slowly, oh, oh so slowly, sparking some imaginative thoughts and talks among those whom may have stumbled across it. If you have any interest in CRISPR tech and like reading about far out hypotheses of a naive student (me), then take a look and leave a comment why don’t ya– I eat feed back for breakfast and love the ability to participate in constructive communication, especially on these types of thought-provoking topics.
Lastly, but not least[-ly], it may be the weather, but there seems to be a looming storm on the horizons no matter where you are in this uncertain world of ours. As some may take these signs as dark omens, the same may also find some solace in the words of the last of the good emperors, Marcus Aurelius:
| Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present |
So get out there and start arming yourself with useless knowledge! And stay tuned for more tantalizing tidbits here on STB…
